What's so special about Yung Biz's new mixtape?

It’s a gift. It’s me coming from the heart. It’s an untold story, that the world needs to hear. It comes from a perspective others aren't speaking on.

How is it different?

It’s not glorifying the negativity of the lifestyle, but it's showing the deeper thoughts and mental struggles someone who is "hustling" goes through.

What inspired you to begin rapping?

I had a friend Pman who inspired me to rap. He on the song Jungle, he was killed Aug 2014, and that motivated me to go even harder for him.

What's your favorite song on the mixtape and why?

I’d have to say “Wipe My Eyes,” because it's the honest truth of how I live, and what I been through.

I have been dealing with legal issues, as well as being shot, and shot at on several occasions

What artists inspire you?

Shy Glizzy, that's my favorite rapper…he’s live.

Where do you see your career in 5 years?

Bet awards, I want respect from my people.
