AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer
Happy Wednesday Team Tula!
I wanted to share a special message from Theresa Hackett, a very close family friend who is participating in and raising money for AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer with hopes that we can help her reach her goal!
"Dear Friends and Family,
I've made the decision to crush breast cancer by participating in AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer. It will be two days and 39 miles of sore muscles and blisters, but I'm ready to take on the challenge!
Every year I walk on behalf of my niece Tasha Hill-Stanley who passed away nine years ago. I promised her before she passed that I would walk every year until they find a cure. Since then I have added names to this list of cancer survivors to walk on behalf Aunt Joan, Cousin Beverly, Grandma Doris, sister in laws Michelle, Nita and my friends Charlotte, Debbie and Carlotta. There is still work to be done to find a 100% cure. This year I wanted to walk again for Taj and all the survivors.
Part of earning my 39 is fundraising $1,800 – a critical part of this challenge that requires me to face my fears about asking for donations. The money raised through the AVON 39 goes to fund important research and community programs both locally and nationally. This is about saving lives, and I'm ready to do my part.

Thank you for helping me crush breast cancer!

There is no donation too small, every bit counts, and of course, all donations are tax deductible." - Theresa Hackett
