Young Metro Don’t Trust Trump!
If Young Metro don’t trust you… well ya’ll know the rest! Metro Boomin is playing no games with this upcoming election; the amazing and super talented producer is ready to speak out against Donald Trump. Metro Boomin is using his status as a platform to encourage all his supporters, especially young people to participate in this year’s election.
The election is less than two months away and this is an important moment in our history. With that being said Young Metro has taken to what he knows best and announced that he will be holding a concert on November 4th in New York City titled “Young Metro Don’t Trust Trump”. If you know anything about Kanye’s “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1” you have a great idea of the meaning behind the concert title.
Metro is the first to admit that he doesn’t know everything about politics and policies but knows enough that he doesn’t trust Trump. Metro let Complex Mag. Know that "I don't trust him, you don't trust him and go ahead and celebrate that”. Metro Boomin is using this concert as his platform and hopes that other artists his age are encouraged to speak out about the importance of the election and Trump in particular.
Not to mention, all profits raised from the concert will be used to set up a yearly scholarship fund that will send one lucky St. Louis high school male to Morehouse College. Which is the same path that Metro took when he was younger. It truly gets not better, Metro is more than aware and woke about what’s going on in our country and is all about creating opportunities for people to succeed.
